Privacy Policy

We appreciate your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below you will find detailed information about how we handle your data.

1. ACCESS DATA AND HOSTING

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Each time you access a webpage, our web server automatically logs certain data (called server log files), such as the requested file name, your IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, and your internet provider. These access data are used solely to ensure the proper functioning of our website and to improve our offer. This is based on our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. All access data are deleted no later than seven days after your visit.

2. DATA PROCESSING FOR CONTRACT EXECUTION AND CONTACT PURPOSES

2.1 Data Processing for Contract Execution

We collect personal data necessary for processing your order when you voluntarily provide this information during the ordering process. Mandatory fields are clearly marked because we need this data to fulfill the contract. Without these, we cannot process your order. More information on data sharing with service providers for order processing, payment, and shipping is provided in the following sections. After the contract has been fully executed, your data will be restricted in processing and deleted after statutory retention periods unless you have consented to further use or we are legally permitted to use the data beyond contract fulfillment.

2.2 Customer Account

If you create a customer account with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), we store your data for future orders. You may delete your account at any time via a dedicated function or by contacting us. After deletion, your data will be erased unless you have consented to further use or we are legally authorized to retain your data.

2.3 Contact Requests

When you contact us via contact form, email, or chat, we collect the data you provide to handle your inquiry. Required fields are marked. Data will be deleted after your request is fully processed unless you consent otherwise or legal exceptions apply.

3. DATA PROCESSING FOR SHIPPING

To fulfill the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), we share your data with the delivery service providers as needed to ship your ordered goods. This also applies if manufacturers or wholesalers ship directly on our behalf. Our service providers may operate servers in countries with an adequate data protection level recognized by the EU, such as Switzerland.

4. DATA PROCESSING FOR PAYMENT

We work with technical service providers, banks, and payment processors to handle your payments.

4.1 Transaction Processing

Depending on your chosen payment method, the required data are shared with our processors or financial institutions to complete the transaction, based on contract fulfillment (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Some payment providers collect data directly on their platforms. Please refer to the respective provider’s privacy policy.

4.2 Fraud Prevention and Payment Process Optimization

We may provide additional data to our processors for fraud prevention and optimization of payment processes (e.g., invoicing, disputed payments, accounting support) based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

4.3 Identity and Credit Checks for Klarna Payments

If you select Klarna payment services, we request your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) to share necessary data for payment processing and credit checks with Klarna Bank AB. Klarna uses information from credit agencies in Germany to evaluate payment risk. You can withdraw your consent anytime, but this may limit payment options.

5. INTEGRATION OF TRUSTED SHOPS TRUSTBADGE

Our website includes the Trusted Shops Trustbadge to display ratings and offer buyer protection products. This is based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The Trustbadge is provided by Trusted Shops GmbH, Germany, which may use servers and service providers in the USA under appropriate data protection guarantees. Further details and privacy information are available from Trusted Shops.

6. SOCIAL MEDIA

6.1 Social Plugins from Facebook and Instagram

We include social media buttons as simple HTML links that do not automatically connect to external servers. Clicking a button opens the social media platform in a new window.

6.2 Our Presence on Facebook and Instagram
